How to use your clay mask:
💛 Begin by washing your face as you normally would. Take a small teaspoon amount of clay mask and add to a small bowl and add a few drops of liquid to start with into a glass/clay/wood container.
💛 Mix a little at a time to get a nice even consistency that is thick enough to adhere to your skin, until you have a nice paste and then apply evenly over face and neck. Alternatively and depending on your skin type/needs you can activate your mask with other beneficial liquids such as:
–Apple Cider Vinegar which helps with oily skin and is also soothing to itchy/dry skin as well as balancing skins pH level, just be sure to dilute ACV in water at a 1:2 solution.
–Aloe Vera juice, raw yogurt, raw milk (cow/goat) help with cleansing, renewing, and moisturizing/softening dry, irritated, and sensitive skin.
–Green Tea will help with tightening pores, moisturizing, and will soothe inflammation and puffiness.
–Raw Honey, rich in antioxidants, potassium, and other minerals and vitamins, and it’s one of natures best natural humectants. It’s also antibacterial and anti fungal.
💛 It’s best to apply a thin layer of the mask with your fingertips over your face and neck. Leave your mask on for 5 to 10 minutes. It is not recommended to leave on longer as this can be drying and cause irritation.
💛 Rinse your mask off with tepid water, because our masks all contain colloidal oatmeal they all have a gentle exfoliation to them, along with the natural exfoliating properties of the clay. You can rub gently in circular motion to help with exfoliation while rinsing if you desire.
💛 Always be sure to end with hydrating your skin with your favorite toner or moisturizer.
Use once/week not more than twice/week. More than that can be extra drying and irritating to your skin. Comes with a wooden spoon scoop.
